Joe Kotva is the executive director of the Anabaptist Center for Healthcare Ethics (ACHE), located on the AMBS campus. From 1993 to 2003, he was the pastor of First Mennonite Church of Allentown, Pa. Joe also served for several years on the ethics committee of a large hospital in eastern Pennsylvania. He has written extensively on issues of ethics and virtue, including medical ethics and clergy ethics. Among his more recent writings is the pamphlet, "The Anabaptist Tradition: Religious Beliefs and Healthcare Decisions," Park Ridge Center, Handbook Series, 2002.
