June Alliman Yoder pursues her calling with wit, grace, and passion. Her teaching and her preaching are valued among AMBS students and throughout the church as she often is called upon to speak in congregations and at conferences.

To this role June brings varied experiences: voluntary service with Mennonite Central Committee; director of dramatic productions for Bridgework Theatre, Goshen, Ind.; and teaching, administrative, and campus ministry positions at several colleges prior to joining the AMBS faculty in 1981. She served as an interim member of the ministerial team of College Mennonite Church, Goshen, Ind., in the fall of 1993 and 1994-95. In the spring of 1994 she taught at Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, India; and in the fall of 1999 she was a Fellow at the College of Preachers in Washington, D.C.

"We have often heard the Bible referred to as 'The Greatest Story Ever Told.' I am deeply saddened when I hear this superb story mumbled in dull or incomprehensible ways. My desire is to help seminarians find clear and interesting and energized ways to communicate the story of 'God among People' for our congregations and for those who have never heard the great news."
