Volunteer at AMBS

As Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary prepares people for ministry across the U.S., Canada and the world, we value the partnership we have with congregations, especially the congregation in our vicinity. We invite you to join in this partnership in a special way as a volunteer to help in the mission of AMBS. We welcome volunteers who can give several hours a week or a month, as well as those who could help for several days once a year or on an on-call basis.

AMBS has approximately 42 different tasks available for volunteers, including office work, maintenance, data entry, cooking and baking, providing transportation, and caring for table linens used in the dining room and fabrics used in worship décor.

Many different kinds of skills and levels of skills are welcomed for this variety of tasks. In exchange, volunteers learn to know faculty, students and staff, may join in chapel services and can hear from international guests who come to campus.

Look over the volunteer interest checklist-application. Please read it, pray about what you might do, and then complete the form and send it to AMBS. Or you may call Sharon Baker, volunteer coordinator at AMBS, 1 (574) 296-6234. As you consider this opportunity, please continue to pray for God's guidance and blessing on this vital mission of preparing leaders for the church.
