Travel to the land of Abraham and Jesus with biblical scholar and licensed tour guide Patricia Shelly and Bible professor Douglas Miller. Look at the biblical text in the context of the history and geography of Palestine; learn about the religions and cultures of the Middle East; understand better the dynamics of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict by meeting with Israeli Jews, Palestinians Christians, and Muslims.

This course, offered through Bethel College, North Newton, Kan., is available for graduate-level credit as part of the AMBS-Great Plains January offerings. Lois Barrett, lbarrett@ambs.edu, 316.283.7098, directs the AMBS-Great Plains program and can answer questions related to AMBS credit.

Cost: Tuition for three credit hours ($1,221) plus approximately $3,6000–3,700 for travel, meals, tips, and site visits.
