Latin American studies
An AMBS course is offered biennially during Interterm in Guatemala by SEMILLA (Latin American Anabaptist-Mennonite Seminary). In July and/or August, a month-long experiential learning opportunity is available in Bogotá, Colombia, guided by Colombian Mennonite leaders. For further information about any of these programs, contact the dean's office at AMBS.

Global Urbanization and Mission
This seminar-style course considers Christian mission in the context of rapid urbanization. The seminar, which travels to several two-thirds world cities, focuses especially on contextual models of church planting and on transformational development. Travel costs and inoculations are in addition to tuition. The seminar is especially recommended for those with interest in working in a two-thirds world urban setting.
