Objective
Actively participate in the management and supervision of AMBS plant and equipment maintenance assisting the Director of Maintenance in any an all activities related to plant and equipment upkeep, function and appearance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of operations and repair to HVAC systems, EPA card preferred
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing
- Knowledge about repair and maintenance of work and living spaces
- Knowledge about repair and maintenance of small equipment
- Team player
- Self-starter
- Warm, open personality
- Must have a current and valid drivers license
- Willingness and ability to be available in emergencies
Tasks and responsibilities
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
- Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly fashion
- Assist in all buildings, equipment, systems and grounds maintenance and repair
- Provide input to budget process – staffing (skills and time) levels, supplies, etc.
- Respond to security alarms after hours
- Respond to after hours housing and campus emergencies
- Facilitate classroom and meeting space arrangement for special events, i.e. set-up
- Other duties as assigned
