Greetings! My name is Ben, I am 18 years old, my favorite color is blue and I work in a grocery store. I stereotypically enjoy long walks on the beach, and by beach I mean grassy plains as I am from the prairie provinces of Canada. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and being a little social butterfly. One of my hobbies includes making films; you will often find me working on my next big project for the SRC or a personal project of my own. A cool and interesting thing about me is that I have the certification to work on film sets in my home province. I also enjoy listening to music, and occasionally traveling.

My future goals were originally to become a famous filmmaker, but plans changed when I felt the call to become a youth pastor. I have attended church since I was a kid and the thought of me being a pastor has never crossed my mind until now. It truly is my dream to integrate my skills in media with my future ministry. Recently I accepted a position of interim youth leader at my home congregation, which is extremely exciting for me. I look forward to attending the !Explore program in the summer to explore my gifts of ministry and to meet new people! I am very excited to go! See you then!
