Benton Mennonite Church, Goshen, Ind.

I was born on July 16, 1989, at Goshen General Hospital. Since the day of my birth I have lived in the small town of Benton, just outside of Goshen, Indiana. I attended Benton Elementary School before going to Fairfield Junior High School. At this point in my life my family was attending a Church of the Brethren. After some issues came up in the church my family sought a new place of worship, which turned out to be Benton Mennonite Church. It was while I was attending this church that my pastor suggested I consider attending Bethany Christian High School, so I transferred to Bethany. At Bethany I found a great place to grow in my faith with others as well as a good environment in which to enjoy extra-curricular activities including running cross country and playing baseball. These activities also tend to influence my hobbies which include playing Ultimate, running, biking, and listening to music while I do them. As for my future after high school, I plan to attend Goshen College in the fall of 2008 and with some uncertainty as to what major I will pursue. I will just fly by the seat of my pants to whatever awaits me on this wild journey through life.
