Give to the !Explore program

!Explore calls, mentors and nurtures young adults.

Through this program, the brightest and best high school youth are introduced to the excitement of theological learning and are encouraged to consider a vocation in ministry. They receive validation for their leadership potential; they are mentored by pastors and seminary professors; and, together with their peers, they explore their own theological questions.

Over the past three years of programming, !Explore has proven to effectively foster youths’ interest in church ministry and develop youths’ leadership skills. As !Explore continues, it will not only nurture future leaders but will contribute toward greater stability and vibrancy in the Mennonite church.

!Explore encourages youth and helps the church

Through the ministry of !Explore in the broader Mennonite church, this program continues to foster a culture of encouragement in the denomination. Youth participants clearly flourish as adults name and nurture their gifts in leadership. Professors and pastors report learning how important it is to encourage youth.

You can help

We invite you to join in this program which carries significant potential for the growth and strength of the Mennonite Church. The program was launched with funding from Lilly Endowment and AMBS has received additional partial funding for another four years. Your gifts will be important as we phase out the support from Lilly Endowment and !Explore becomes a self-supporting program.
