The Mennonite Encyclopedia

Four volumes published initially in the 1950's.  A fifth volume with revisions, new material and and updated bibliography was published in 1990.  Three sets may be found in the AMBS Library: the Reference Room, the Mennonite Browsing Collection and the Mennonite Historical Library Reading Room.  Also available in the Bethel College Libraries.
Global Anabaptist Mennonite Encyclopedia Online A dynamic online source of information on history, statistics, biography, education, the arts and family history.  While particular attention is given to Canadian topics, this free resource includes many articles from the classic Mennonite Encyclopedia.
Mennonitisches Lexikon

Four-volume German encyclopedia published between 1913 and 1967 which provided the foundation upon which the Mennonite Encyclopedia was developed. In the AMBS Reference Room and the Mennonite Historical Library Reading Room. Also in the Mennonite Library and Archives at Bethel College.
The Oxford Encyclopedia of the Reformation

A four-volume encyclopedia edited by Hans J. Hillerbrand and published by Oxford University Press in 1996. In the AMBS Library Reference Room.
