Gold Certification for AMBS Library

AMBS Library

The AMBS Library has been awarded Gold Certification by the United States Green Building Council. This is the first theological library to be certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. In the design and construction of the building, we followed standards set by the Council in its LEED certification program (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

Our vision in creating a green library was motivated by our desire to care for God’s creation and to provide a healthy, envigorating space for study, reflection and collaboration. As we built the library and bookstore building, we made a commitment to reduce our impact on God's creation and to restore the land as much as possible.

We are pleased that our goal could be recognized through the stringent criteria established by the United States Green Building Council.
