AMBS mourns the deaths of three women with close ties to the seminary community:

  • Bertha Harder, long-time instructor in Christian education, died August 23 in Goessel, Kan.
  • Miriam Lind, wife of Millard Lind, professor emeritus of Old Testament, died August 24, in Goshen, Ind.
  • LaVeta Habegger, wife of David Habegger who served in the development office, died August 19, in North Newton, Kan.
