Biblical Storytelling stories

With the Bible at the heart of the AMBS curriculum, we want to encourage people to experience the biblical texts with all of their life-giving power, down-to-earth wisdom (and humor, too).

At the Biblical Storytelling Festival in November 2008, we told some of the Bible's stories about food, feeding and hospitality ... familiar stories and obscure stories ... all stories that help us see God's abundance. The stories that were written especially for this event are now compiled in a booklet for you to use and enjoy.

Read the stories for your own pleasure. Then work with others in your own congregation to perform one or two of them. Share the experience of discovering what the Bible can teach us when we look at it in fresh ways.
