Commencement Weekend 2017

The 2017 commencement ceremony at College Mennonite Church in Goshen, Indiana, will honor 21 graduates who are completing degrees and certificates.

Mary H. Schertz, PhD, will bring the commencement address. Dr. Schertz is AMBS professor of New Testament, director of the Institute of Mennonite Studies and editor of Vision: A Journal for Church and Theology. She has been an AMBS teaching faculty member since 1988 and anticipates retiring in June 2017.

About the graduates

Twenty-one students are anticipating graduating from AMBS in May 2017. Eleven graduates will earn the Master of Divinity degree; three the Master of Arts in Christian Formation; two the Master of Arts: Peace Studies and one the Master of Arts: Theological Studies. Four students will receive a Certificate in Theological Studies, representing one year of study.
