Airports

The closest airport to AMBS is the South Bend Airport (SBN), which 26 miles from campus. It is served by Allegiant (Las Vegas, Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix), Delta (Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis), and United (Chicago O’Hare) airlines. Many car rental companies are available at or near the South Bend airport. Train

Elkhart is served by Amtrak’s Capitol Limited line, which links Chicago, Toledo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Washington D.C. The westbound train (train 29) is scheduled to arrive in Elkhart at 7:29 am each morning, and the eastbound train (train 30) at 9:29 pm each night; however, trains sometimes run late. The Amtrak station in Elkhart is a little less than two miles from the AMBS campus. Pick-up and drop-off service can be arranged in advance with AMBS, by contacting [email protected].The cost of a one-way trip to the campus is $16, which could be shared if several people arrive on the same train.
