Can we find a cohesive center in our fragmenting community, a compelling vision that holds the church together while it also welcomes people who are discovering the strengths of Anabaptism?

In the Practicing Reconciliation blog, Sara Wenger Shenk shares a conversation-- Our Moral Tribe’s search for a robust vision--between David Miller, AMBS professor, and Carl Keener, retired Goshen College professor.

David writes, "Perhaps the work to which we should be giving ourselves is to re-articulate [a] common currency--one that persons outside of Anabaptism are finding compelling. Only then will we have the capacity to find a way on the lesser matters that we have permitted to become the defining issues …."
