AMBS invites local pastors to join with seminary students in examining pastoral care case studies in a series of discussions this fall.
Participants in the Pastoral Care Case Colloquy will contribute case studies for discussion. These cases will be examined as they would be in pastoral clinical supervision. Daniel S. Schipani, Ph.D., Psy.D., who is AMBS professor of pastoral care and counseling, will lead the discussions.
The Colloquy is an opportunity for pastors to share with each other the issues they encounter and to contribute to the learning of pastoral care students.
The Colloquy will meet four times during the fall semester on Thursday afternoons from 3:00–5:00 p.m.: Sept. 12, Oct. 10 and 24, and Nov. 14. Four sessions also will be scheduled during spring semester. Pastors may participate in one or both semesters. All sessions will be on the AMBS campus, 3003 Benham Avenue, Elkhart, Ind.
Registration includes a fee of $30 for fall semester if received before Sept. 1; $40 after Sept. 1. Learn more and register online. Or call the AMBS Church Leadership Center, 574.296.6269.
