Church Leadership Center Workshops
The Church Leadership Center offers day-long workshops throughout the year that cover topics such as worship planning and pastoral care. Advent Planner and Lent Planner workshops are offered annually, as are several events from the pastoral care series Extreme Situations in the Congregations.
Workshop participants come from diverse denominational backgrounds and range from pastors, lay leaders and chaplains to students, retirees and anyone with a love for the work of the church.

Reclaiming the Bible as the people's Book

This all-day seminar is an interactive workshop, looking at how the Bible moved from being a book open to all to a treatise only a select few can understand. By reflecting on the history of its use and engaging in conversations and exercises, the aim of the workshop is to enable the Bible to become less of a problem and more of a vital, sustaining resource for congregational life. Though the seminar is especially geared for pastors and teachers, it is open to anyone who desires a more fruitful relationship with scripture. Read more...
Online pornography: Ending up someplace we didn't intend to go

This daylong seminar is designed for pastors who work with congregational members and attenders who use pornography. It will pay special attention to theological reflection on the issue, effects of pornography on congregational dynamics, appropriate pastoral response, and related available resources. Read more...
