Academic Policies and Procedures: These resources give many of the details that students need for registering; completing degree requirements; understanding grading, time limits for completing degrees, residency; and more.

Disability and Accommodations Policy (PDF) ► The policy addresses sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (revised in 1998 and updated in 2015), which prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability in public and private organizations that receive U.S. federal funding.

Conflict and Grievance Policy (PDF) ► Policies and processes to provide a fair, culturally attentive and structured process for identifying and remediating perceived and actual offenses and injustices in the AMBS learning community.

Sexual Misconduct Policy and Procedures (PDF) ► Use the online Sexual Misconduct Reporting Form to make a report

Student Complaint Process Beyond AMBS (PDF) ► For a flowchart of the complaint process, visit the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements website.

Statements

Statement of Educational Effectiveness (PDF) ► The seminary measures educational effectiveness by accounting for students who are advanced to candidacy for a degree and complete the degree program or continue to make progress toward completion.

Statement of Renewed Commitment Regarding Sexualized Violence Prevention ► A statement of renewed institutional commitment, offered by Beverly Lapp, Ed.D., AMBS Vice President and Academic Dean.

Teaching and scholarship related to John Howard Yoder (PDF) ► This statement reports on shared agreements that will guide how AMBS faculty teach, critique, interpret, and use Yoder’s work with integrity, recognizing the significance of his theological work and the wrongfulness of his actions.
