About Suzanne

Suzanne has worked in higher education since July 2002. She spent the first 15 years at AMBS as a database administrator in development/advancement offices. Since 2017, she has been the business office manager at AMBS.

Why I am at AMBS

God led me here through a series of circumstances in 2006. I wasn’t raised Mennonite, but I have found the Seminary community to be welcoming and a blessing. I strongly believe in theological education and appreciate being part of the exciting things happening at AMBS.

What I do at AMBS

As the Business Office Manager, I am responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Accounts payable includes maintaining vendor records and ensuring all invoices are paid promptly. Accounts receivable includes billing students and applying payments. I enter all accounting transactions in our software and perform monthly bank reconciliations.

How might students expect to interact with you?

Students can expect to receive emails from me when I invoice their student accounts for tuition, fees, rent, and other miscellaneous charges. They should contact me if they have questions about their bill or need to set up a payment plan.
