The library at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary offers both print and digital books as well as journals in our library. Knowledgeable and caring professionals can help you find and use these resources. While the library is a quiet place to study or read, the AMBS library also offers some unexpected amenities. Take a break from studying to expend some energy while using an exercise bike, or enjoy a moment of relaxation with a nap in a hammock.

Our library is green!

The AMBS Library was the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified theological library in North America. Find out more about our green building design.

Library hours and Wifi availability

The library is open to the general public.

You can also get access to AMBS’s Guest WiFi network for free. To get access, register in person at the library during open hours and set up an account as a community borrower. As a community borrower, you will receive a special library parking permit that allows you to connect to the internet, and to online library resources, from the seminary’s main parking lot during daylight hours.

Restricted access: Weekdays after 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays, library access is limited to AMBS students and employees, registered community borrowers, and events/meetings scheduled in advance. ID will be required.
