Library

The library at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary is the perfect place on campus to get some quiet, read while using an exercise bike or take a nap in a hammock.

Oh, also books. You’ll find lots of print and online books and plenty of journals in our library. You’ll also find knowledgeable and caring professionals to help you find and use these resources.

Our library is green!

The AMBS Library was the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified theological library in North America. Find out more about our green building design.

Library hours and Wifi availability

The library is open to the general public. Masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19. Masks continue to be available at our service desk.

You can also get access to AMBS’s Guest WiFi network for free. To get access, register in person at the library during open hours and set up an account as a community borrower. As a community borrower, you will receive a special library parking permit that allows you to connect to the internet, and to online library resources, from the seminary’s main parking lot during daylight hours.

For directions to the AMBS campus and help locating the AMBS Library, view our campus maps.

The library building entrance is locked at 5 p.m. After that time you will need to ring in and show ID.
