Recommend a future student
Personal recommendations are one of the most important factors in a student’s decision to attend AMBS! Whom can you recommend to begin seminary studies at AMBS?
Get a $50 gift certificate to the AMBS Bookstore for your recommendation!
Special to Pastors and Leaders participants: Recommend a student by March 15 to be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to the AMBS Bookstore. Scholarships and financial aid
AMBS offers generous need-based financial aid and scholarships to help make your education affordable. Scholarships are available for students learning both on campus and at a distance. During this time of pandemic, let AMBS Admissions Team members connect you with students, faculty and staff who can share their perspectives on what AMBS has to offer.
MDiv Connect: Support your pastor!
Your congregation can help make a seminary education possible for your pastor or lay leader. A congregation that budgets to provide $3,733 per year for six years — half the cost of tuition for the Master of Divinity Connect program — would likely cover most of the cost for a student who has need.
Journey: A Missional Leadership Development Program
Nurture your leadership abilities. Deepen your theological perspectives. Tend to your spiritual formation. This nondegree program offers mentor-mentee partnerships, distance learning opportunities and community support.
Interested in trauma-informed caregiving? Intercultural Competence and Undoing Racism consultations? Workshops on leadership for God’s reconciling mission in today’s world? Engage these offerings and more with Invite AMBS, which provides unique opportunities to have AMBS faculty and staff interact with you via videoconference. Schedule one of our currently available speakers or ask for another faculty member to share with you!
!Explore: A Theological Program for High School Youth
Students in grades 10–12 can explore ministry and theology, grow in spiritual practices and listen for God’s call through a summer congregational internship and a Group Experience (at AMBS in 2021 and Mennonite World Conference in 2022). Participants can participate in both and receive a $1,000 stipend each year. Tap a shoulder!
