The 2019 ceremony at College Mennonite Church in Goshen, Indiana, honored 20 candidates for graduation.

About the candidates

Twelve graduates anticipated earning a Master of Divinity; two anticipated a Master of Arts: Peace Studies; one anticipated a Master of Arts: Theological Studies; one anticipated a Master of Arts: Theology and Peace Studies; and four anticipated a Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies.


About the 2019 speaker

Meghan Larissa Good, D.Min., of Phoenix, Arizona, teaching pastor at Trinity Mennonite Church in Glendale, Arizona, and a member of the AMBS Board of Directors, will bring the commencement address. She is a graduate of Portland Seminary at George Fox University in Portland, Oregon; Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina; and Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. Good wrote The Bible Unwrapped: Making Sense of Scripture Today (Herald, 2018) and is a frequent preacher and lecturer at churches and universities across the country, speaking on subjects such as biblical hermeneutics and contemporary preaching.
